- Ib - Reunited - Chpt 2 -

I awoke in my bedroom, I look around frantically.

Where's Garry?! It can't be... he can't go already...

"Garry!" I scream his name several times. My parents rush in to calm me down. After a while they left. I look around my bedroom and walk to my desk and stare at my rose sitting still in the vase which was on my desk. I open my notebook and see something new written inside.

"Let's meet again Ib; I'll be waiting near the old gallery."

It's 5 pm... I wonder if Garry is still there.

I change my clothes. Pulled on a coat and put on a hat. I leave my room as it is and make my way downstairs and out the door. As I walk to the gallery I keep stopping and staring at things that have my reflection. I fix my hair and see if I look appealing.

I wonder if I look like a child still to Garry...

continuing on I see a tall man with light purple hair sitting on a bench beside the gallery. In an instant I have my arms wrap around him.
"Garry! I missed you so much!" I felt him jump as I hug him. I eventually come face to face with him. "You haven't changed one bit Ga-!" I felt something wrap around my hand and pull me. Next thing I knew we're at a bakery shop. "That will be $10." I look around and see Garry buying these burger shaped things.
I look at Garry with a confused face as he leads me to a park. "Here Ib, try one." I'm handed a macaroon from Garry. "It's a macaroon; I promised you I would take you out for some remember?" I nod and I take a bite of the desert. "It's yummy" I mumble with some food in my mouth still. I could feel my face getting hot.

Ah! So embarrassing!

I felt Garry's hands on my face, one of them wiping crumbs off of my face. I notice how beautiful his eyes actually are, then notice his face turning red. I could feel the corner of my mouth curling into a small smile while Garry put his hands to his side. "Ah, sorry Ib..." he says as he looks away. Some moments pass and we decide to take a walk. I stop walking and stare at a bush of blue and red roses intertwined together.

It's so beautiful.

"Blue and red roses... It reminds me of us, Ib." Garry sounded shy when he said that but I'm glad he did. I grab his hand and intertwine my fingers between his. "Now we really are like those roses." We continue walking and we start talking about ourselves. "10 long years Ib, and we still found each other. If you don't mind me asking. How old are you now?" I could tell he was curious. I feel happy knowing someone wants to learn more about me. "I'm 18 now... I'm going to be 19 years old soon..." I was expecting Garry to be in shock but he looks more relaxed... and happy... "Really? Isn't that nice? You turned out into a beautiful lady. I'm just an old man now."

Don't say that... You're the same to me right now as you were before... If only I could tell him.

I shake my head a few times. I wrap my arms around him tightly and we stand there quietly for a moment. "Don't leave again ok... You're not allowed to leave me alone." I hug him even tighter.

-Starting now to write in Garry's perspective-

"Ib...?" I nudge her once or twice. "Ib it's already 10 you should go home soon." I look at her face, her eyes are shut and she's... Sleeping? "I-Ib??"

She fell asleep just like that... standing too if I should mention... Like a child still...

So I put her on my back and carried the princess away.
